LAWATAN KERJA RASMI KE KARLSRUHE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES (HKA)

A delegation from UMPSA, led by Associate Professor Dr. Ruzaimi (Director of PKSA) and Dr. Nadzeri (Head of dual-degree Automotive), paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Rose Marie Beck, the newly appointed President of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) since March 2024. The visit was organized by Professor Weiß, the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Mechatronics at HKA.
Upon entering Professor Beck's office, they were warmly greeted by her welcoming smile. Known for her dedication to fostering collaboration between institutions, Professor Beck's reception emphasized her commitment to partnership.
Dr. Ruzaimi conveyed congratulations from Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato' Dr. Yuserrie and expressed UMPSA's sincere desire to strengthen collaboration. He explained about the first dual degree program initiated in 2010 in Mechatronics, Automotive, & Electrical Engineering, marking the beginning of a fruitful partnership.
Professor Beck acknowledged the significance of the dual degree program in fostering academic exchange and collaboration. She praised UMPSA's innovative approach to education and research, highlighting the valuable contributions made by their students and faculty.
The conversation shifted to future collaboration possibilities. Dr. Ruzaimi outlined UMPSA's vision for expanding joint research projects, enhancing mobility and exchange programs for staff and students, and exploring new partnership avenues in emerging technology fields.
As the meeting concluded, Professor Beck and Dr. Ruzaimi exchanged souvenirs, symbolizing their commitment to further collaboration between UMPSA and HKA. With renewed enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose, they parted ways, confident in their collective ability to drive innovation and excellence in engineering education and research.
